In support of her first solo release, Blue Baby Blue (2003), Carolyna spent '03 and '04 touring across Canada. The recording, produced by Bob Doidge (Gordon Lightfoot, Emmylou Harris, Bruce Cockburn), featured veteran studio musicians Hugh Marsh, Bill Dillon, and John Lewis.

99-02  Carolyna was working songs and live shows with Hamilton Ontario musicians and recording demos at Grant Avenue Studio in pre-production for Blue Baby Blue. Carolyna joined Rob Lamothe on drums and BG vox on stage (including the Festival of Friends); wrote and performed the harmony that ended in a duet with  Steve Sinnicks in a recording of "One Heart", with producer Michael Berthelmer; and  played with  a host of  talents  on her own stages for two years whilst writing new, acoustic-based material for her first solo album.

During this time, Carolyna and husband/partner Michael Loveless produced an Independent Radio Station for Heritage Canada, Indie High Web Radio. Between '93 and '98, Loveless called Sydney, Australia home where she fronted and produced the rock unit, 'EVE' . The band opened for Amanda Marshall and received national T.V. airplay on ABC's RAGE for the video 'Indie Girl' . Carolyna appeared on the nationally syndicated Andrew Denton Show with Jim Rose (Jim Rose's Side Show) and performed solo on the prime-time television show Sex Life on Australia's national TEN Network. Aussie music industry insider Stuart Coupe (Drum, Q, Rolling Stone Magazine Australia) wrote EVE are one of the most impressive, determined and hard-working new bands to emerge on the Sydney scene over the last couple of years.

South of the border, Loveless spent a year in Nashville, TN ('91/'92) where she played some great clubs opening for Mickey Gilley at Gilley's and Vicki Bird (1991 CMA upcoming artist of the year) at Willy Nelson's , and sat in with UK pickers, 'The Gledhill Brothers' at Gilley's (while they were on tour with Chet Atkins ).

Between '86-'90, Loveless formed 'Cari North and Young Exodus' (Kingston, ON) and hammered out her live performance with two house gigs, Stages and AJ's in Kingston, Ontario. There Young Exodus opened for the "we were once Canadian Rock Stars" of the day...Trooper, April Wine, Luba... Fun Times.
